Electronics Design Engineer - Redhill - ContractA very well known company in Redhill is looking for an experienced EMC, test/ design engineer to join a busy engineering team working on the latest products.
The Role:
- Design and manufacture Contactless payment smart card devices, ticket vending machines and Barriers for Railway Industry
- Design and proto-typed LCP3 Interface board (Logic Control Processor) for Electric Gate System.
- Resolve EMC issues on PV (Platform Validator) on Swedish rail Project.
- Assist building of new machines for field trilling and testing of EMC and LVD directive.
Skills required:
- High frequency power experience
- Safety engineering ISO 26262 ILS FMEA HALT LVD vehicle directive AutoCAD 2002 OrCAD layout/capture.
- electronics design experience
- experience of taking products to test houses and through test sequences
- Experience of compliance work for electrical safety and for EMC
- Working knowledge of EN60950 or EN 50121
- Preparation of specifications and test reports
- Documentation experience and dealing with technical files
