My client is seeking an experienced Production Operations manager with Surface treatment experience for a 12 month month+ Contract to be based in Brussels
The client is a leading supplier of design and manufacture of high lift structures, complex mechanical assemblies and major functional components for Aerospace industry.

Purpose of the Job
End responsible for the planning, organization, coordination and control of all production and related support activities in the Service Unit Surface Treatment and Painting, in close cooperation with support departments outside the SU, in order to achieve the agreed objectives in terms of volume, quality, on time delivery and cost in a safe and positive working environment for the employees. The SU TTS acts in this sence as an internal supplier to help the Operating Units in achieving their objectives in terms of OTD and quality.

Profile Know how and Experience
Education: Industrial Engineer or equal by experience
Language: F luent French or Dutch and good knowledge of the other language, and experience in English.
Skills/Experience:
*Experience in Special Treatments is a strong plus and otherwise the willingness to develop their career in this area
*Willingness to develop strong technical knowledge in the TTS area
*At least 5-7 years of experience in industrial environment, preferably in a production department
*Knowledge of Management by Objectives and by Indicators
*Experience with Lean principles is a must
*NADCAP and customer specific audit knowledge is a plus
*Able to motivate people and develop with them action plans for improvement
*Customer driven, entrepreneurial spirit
