Insurance Finance Design LeadMy client is currently recruiting for a Design lead to join their Insurance Finance Design Team based in Bristol on a rolling contract.
Overview
The role is for a strong Financial Reporting, MI and Analytics Design Lead to work in the Insurance Finance Design Team working on all aspects of design - including people, process, data and systems.
The role involves leading the definition of the Financial Reporting, Mi and Analytics, Data warehousing and Planning Budgeting and Forecasting elements of the Target Operating Model (TOM) including transition state documents.
The role will lead and facilitate the design across a number of projects, working with the project teams to identify and document key design decisions, ensure adherence to Group Standards and ultimately gain design sign-off from the business / process owners and IT stakeholders.
The Design Lead will work with Design Analysts, SMES and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications and designs, mapping working day timetables (as-is and to-be) using the group standard tool (Visio).
Essential Experience
* Insurance Finance reporting, MI and planning and forecasting capabilities
* Ideally experience of Life Assurance accounting
* Working with Finance and ideally within a Finance department.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong stakeholder management at all levels of the business.
* Proven track record of driving and delivering change in a Finance environment
* Preparation of TOM elements especially process, data and systems
* Setting up and running workshops
* Identifying and documenting key design decisions
* Attention to detail
* Flexible approach to work in an agile way
* Tenacity
* Self starter: Pro active / able to work without supervision
