Mid to Senior Level Network Engineer
Immediate Start Contract - 3 months + initially
Canberra location - ASAP Start
Baseline Security Clearance MINIMUM requirement NV preferred.
Our client is one of Australia's growing ICT services and solutions providers, spanning infrastructure services, managed services and information management.
The purpose of this role is to ensure our client receives expert technical design and delivery to upgrade, implement and maintain all aspects of their internal network and external client networks during change and implementation.
Due to the nature of this project this is a very hands on role requiring an experienced, technically astute engineer. The client infrastructure is predominately Cisco with Routers and Switches numbering in the hundreds connecting multiple geographically diverse sites and managed services.
Therefore we require a highly skilled Certified Cisco Network Engineer with skills covering LANs/WANs, Network Security/Firewalls, Routing protocols, QoS, Load Balancing and ACL's.
*Desirable experience would be Security, Checkpoint, F5 and Amazon Workspaces*
Type of experience:
Cisco ASA experience
Riverbed experience
Cisco wireless experience
Baseline Security Clearance MINIMUM requirement NV preferred.
The ideal candidate will have:
Advanced Cisco certification (CCNP/CCDP at a minimum, CCIE possibly)
5 years Network Engineer experience preferably
Excellent troubleshooting experience and break/fix ability
Excellent written and verbal skills are mandatory
Systems Integrator/Managed Services type background highly regarded.
