SAP WM (Warehouse Management) Functional Analyst urgently required for a long term contract with a large BlueChip company paying great rates in an amazing location.

Role & Level: Functional Specification Analyst

From - To: Begin July 2015 - mid July 2016

Work Location: Belgium, Beerse

The SAP WM (Warehouse Management) Functional Analyst should have the following Required skills:

  • Senior level experience in Warehouse management process as structured within SAP WM and/or eWM: Inbound, Warehousing and Outbound flows.
  • Senior level experience with SAP WM and/or eWM configuration, knowledge on ABAP coding and debugging
  • Senior functional and technical experience on interfacing SAP systems with either other SAP or non-SAP systems, with a focus on the usage of IDOC technology..
  • Understanding and translation of functional and technical design documents into appropriate test scripts and identification of test cases to test the solution
  • Excellent command of English and communication skills
  • Desired skills for the SAP WM (Warehouse Management) Functional Analyst:

  • Experience with working in an international environment, with key users located across the region.
  • Experience with working in a virtual team & collaboration with off-shore ABAP team

    For Project Phoenix, that deals with the migration of a SAP Legacy WM implementation towards an eWM based implementation, there is a need for a specialist to take up ownership of the interfacing to a non-SAP ERP system to exchange inbound, outbound and warehouse movement messages, as well as stock reconciliation messaging. All messaging is to be based on standard as well as custom IDOC types.

    For this position we require an individual that combines a sound functional knowledge in warehouse processes with senior IDOC experience and sufficient technical know-how to understand what takes place within the coding.

    This individual will bear accountability for the successful delivery of this functionality within the project scope at each project stage, this in close collaboration with the development team and the other project members.

    Special Instructions:

    Full time assignment (40h per week)
