Description

Solution Architect

Act as Solution Architect within the Global Finance on the Global Stress Testing project, advancing strategic architectures, technologies and products.

Liaise with Stakeholders across Risk and Finance business units, Architect and recommend solutions by way of the Clear Choice process (in the event that multiple solutions are available), document solutions and transition architectures through Architecture Definition Documents (gaining agreement through the Architecture Review process) and ensure successful implementation. Assume role of technical consultant to development teams.

Mandatory Skills :

Fundamental skills requirements across multiple professional and technical disciplines:

*Experience of Financial and Regulatory reporting processes such as Basel II, FSB, Stress Testing, COREP, etc.
*Managed architectural elements of project plan
*Performed Technical Solution Assessments
*Developed requirements and architectural decisions
*Used modelling techniques
*Applied frameworks, methodologies and standards in creation of solutions.
*Led individuals and teams
*Led in setting technical direction
*Planned projects
*Managed client relationships
*Led strategy, design, and implementation of solution
*Developed solutions architectures
*Designed, developed and implemented high data volume systems
*Strong Interpersonal, communication and influencing skills;
*Effective working with distributed teams;

Optional Skills:

*Good working knowledge of Finance Systems and concepts (Data integration, Reconciliation, Adjustment, Reporting, MI);
*Be familiar with company architectural review process;
*TOGAF certified;
*Working knowledge of FDSF and CCAR would be a major advantage.

Relevant Experience:

*University degree
*Strong IT experience (preferably within the Financial Services industry)
