Solvency II Accountant, Financial Services, South West

This Solvency II Accountant is for a FTSE100 Insurance company based in the South West. This is an initial 6 month contract paying £ a day.

The purpose of the role

Candidates will have a good understanding of financial reporting and regulatory reporting, whilst being experienced in the financial services and/or insurance industry. It is essential that the candidate is knowledgeable and experienced in Solvency II.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with an excellent understanding of Solvency II. They will also have experience of the design and implementation of processes and systems in order to produce reports.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA,CIMA,ACCA,FCCA,FCA)
  • Life insurance experience
  • Extremely competent with Solvency II.
  • Extensive financial reporting experience.
  • Experience extracting and analysing general ledger data
  • Regulating reporting experience (QRT's)
  • Statutory accounts, PRA reporting and Insurance accounting
  • Process improvements experience
