Mechanical Design Project Manager

Description

The Role Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work within the Engineering Team and help the team as a whole to implement the business plan and business objectives. You will work to ensure the customers specified engineering and contractual requirements are interpreted fully and correctly. Responsibilities You will produce a range of mechanical designs and associated documentation. You will also attend site (possibly overseas) to collect sufficient information to allow the design work to proceed. When required you will perform the role of a senior Mechanical Design Engineer, resolving problems, taking decisions and to mentor and guide other engineers in performing their daily tasks. You will also manage and coordinate the task lists of any design staff working on the mechanical design for the Project, ensuring that they are working effectively and at the required quality. Skills and Experience * Degree educated (or equivalent) in Engineering preferably Mechanical * Currently operating within a similar role * Positive and effective team player and leader * Decisive and action orientated
