RED is proud to present a fantastic Senior SAP Project Manager opportunity with a global consultancy based in Malaysia and the Philippines. The Project Manager is primarily responsible for providing an expert level of professional consulting services and solutions to customers. These solutions must deliver tangible, sustainable and quality SAP solutions that provide quantifiable benefits to our client's customers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Project Management
- Advising customers on the implications of specific system design decisions
- Plan & coordinate resources for pre-sales and implementation, etc
- Provide expert advice on specific SAP systems and applications - best practice and cross-functional solutions
- Provide profitable costing when scoping new business or new projects
- Lead a team of SAP consultants to produce results on time and within budget and meet customer expectations
- Manage customer relationships - particularly with Senior Management
- Lead business decision workshops and training, customer communication and facilitation sessions and presentations
- Analysis, Delivery and Support of technical requirements during SAP implementations
- Create long term partnerships which engender ongoing business relationships
- Design and develop high quality SAP business solutions
- Evaluate customer's business needs with input to strategic planning of SAP business systems and directions
- Troubleshooting of system or processes of new and/or existing solutions
- System support for clients - this includes troubleshooting of system or process problems as well as configuration and implementation of new functionality
- Delivery of Configuration of technical environment during SAP implementations
- Maintain open and clear communication with clients and project team members
- Thorough understanding of infrastructure and communication requirements
- Undertake project and task risk assessments
- Create and test to test plans and test specifications
- Systems implementations in accordance with the contract requirements and the quality requirements of the project methodology
- Documentation of design as per project scope
- Extensive documentation of all tasks performed will be required as per standards specifications of either the project or the functional team
- Mentor less experienced consultants
- Provide coaching, mentoring to team leads and team of consultants
- Identify expertise gaps within the consulting businesses and proactively work with hat team to identify strategies to address

- Certified Project Manager with experience in business management, IT system integration, consulting
- Solid Project Management skills
- Obtained business & industry knowledge
- Work on at least 5 end-to-end projects/5 years in Project Management in ERP environment
- Handling of multiple projects in different geographies
- Experience managing large teams and budgets exceeding MYR 10 Million
- Manage stakeholder expectation
- Pre-Sales
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent client relationship skills and customer focus
- Ability to travel to client sites as required
