Microsoft Dynamics NAV Consultant - ERP

We are looking for a competent freelance/contract Microsoft NAV specialist with a Business Analyst mind and a good understanding of finance and accounts and manufacturing process. Manufacturing knowledge should include simple manufacturing, stock concepts and accounting, especially components and assembly. You will have the fantastic opportunity to join our very welcoming factory team in Robakowo, Poland (just outside Poznan).

System design will be led by the design team based in UK, and would be managed from the UK. Hence, the NAV Specialist would be under direction, control and responsibility of the UK team. This is an ideal position for an ambitious individual looking for a foot in the door to UK job market.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the factory team in preparing the business for ERP - ie ensuring all data is gathered for all products, all stock locations marked and listed for stock movement purposes, (some of this will be very hands on', such as stock counting and data input etc.).
  • Work closely with the UK based Project Design Team, represent the factory team in all NAV design discussions and be the bridge between the UK and Polish teams.
  • Support manufacturing business process review, and provide business consultancy.
  • Help the project team to gather business requirements, document AS IS', and TO BE' processes and requirements, in particular to communicate and liaise with the Polish business teams, so that there is complete understanding and strong buy in.
  • Help the project team to complete gap analysis between AS IS', and TO BE'.
  • Support implementation in Poland, in particular the Polish accounts and the manufacturing module, including data analysis and migration, configuration, and set up NAV as per the Design Team decisions.

The candidate must:

  • Be completely fluent in English (proficiency in business environment required).
  • Be Polish fluent speaker.
  • Be eligible to work in Poland
  • Be well acquainted with Microsoft NAV architecture, specialise in NAV manufacturing, and finance modules. (with at least 3 years experience of NAV implementation)
  • Have a business background, and be able to support business process review in manufacturing.
  • Have a good understanding of fundamental warehouse management concept including stock location, stock movements, landed cost, BOM, and WIP.
  • Have a good understanding of manufacturing processes, simple manufacturing concepts, especially components, and assembly.
  • Have a good understanding of manufacturing, management, financial accounting, including stock valuation, price variances and reporting.
  • Be comfortable with data analysis, data handling, and database concepts - especially excel.
  • Have strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Take directions well and follow the process.
  • Be an excellent communicator who gets the message across effectively and in a professional manner.
  • Be well acquainted with MS Office, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel.
