Subject Mater Expert needed urgently in Barcelona.
My client is running a big transformation program and we are looking for an experienced candidate to serve as a Subject Matter Expert in Network/Telecom to be accountable for the successful design and implementation of technical solutions for the client's Infrastructure. The role is an immediate start date on the on a 4 month contract with market rates.
In this challenging role, your key responsibilities will include:
Design and build technology solutions to meet business demands.
Creates, tests, and evaluates new network technologies.
Participate in RFP process, elaborate requirements and evaluate proposals.
Participate in the planning and implementation of LAN/WAN Network, Switches, Routers,
network security, Voice-Over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Wireless LAN network projects and roll-outs
Provide support on Core Network and Wireless or Security solutions, product plans and roadmaps.
Document and optimize technology solution environment as required.
Ensure compliance with project management, portfolio management and CSV policies, guidelines, process tools and reporting standards of the portfolio
You bring the following skills and experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in informatics/engineering.
5+ years of experience in the relevant fields for the team the work is being developed into.
Experience with design and deployment projects.
Experience at similar size installations for multinational environments.
LAN, WAN, WLAN.
WAN acceleration.
Proxy and reverse Proxy technologies.
Routing protocols.
Internet and end point connectivity.
Remote access SSL VPN.
Server Load Balancing.
Voice and Network, Audio, Video and Web Conferencing, VoWLAN.
Applied security.
Experience in providing technical requirements for RFP processes and evaluating proposals.
Professional Certification in one area of expertise of the domain.
ITIL Knowledge or certification is a plus
Fluent in English
