Description

I am currently working with an NHS Organisation who are looking for a Senior Buyer to help support the Procurement Team with the delivery of a number of procurement projects, and to provide procurement advice and support to the senior management and organisational stakeholders.

Key Experience Required for Senior Buyer:

- Manage a proportion of the non-pay spend
- Research projects, negotiate and place orders and contracts in respect of purchasing activity

- Manage product user groups and any associated product trials / research.
- Analyse departmental expenditure and advice action to ensure all spend adheres to Trust SFI's/SO.
- Project management of contract implementation.

Requirements of the Senior Buyer
- Must evidence part CIPs qualified and working towards full qualification / or have appropriate relevant experience.

- At least three years procurement experience.
- Literacy, numeracy and I.T. skills essential (use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint all required example ECDL)
