Junior Stress Engineer -Edinburgh. Competitive Salary PackageProgressive Engineering have been tasked by one of our key account to assist in the recruitment of a Stress Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis in Edinburgh.
You will be joining a small engineering team that specialises in the design and manufacture of telecommunication equipment and will be reporting directly to the Engineering Director. You will play a key role in the development of innovative projects.
This position would ideally suit a junior stress engineer or a mechanical design engineer with experience in FEA and Stress and looking to continue their career within this particular discipline.
Day to day activities:
- Analysis of component performance using FEA techniques and procedures
- Provide support to both internal departments and external customers
- Ensuring that components meet design requirements
Skills and experience required:
- Experience with FEA software
- Understand and deduce project and product specifications
- Engineering degree or extensive experience within a similar role
