This job is for a contract to hire full-time experienced Growth Hacker position. Ideally you’d work out of our Delray Beach office but remote is OK for the right candidate.

You’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and measuring tactics for scalable customer acquisition and remarketing to grow an existing company within Launch Potato’s portfolio. You’ll be optimizing monetization channels and helping the extended Marketing team drive product decisions.

Role will begin as a contract position for 3 months – we do this for all new hires, no exceptions. After 3 months there will be an opportunity to join as a full-time employee for the right candidate, with the benefits below:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

- Identify key growth and retention triggers in order to plan/implement scalable tactics for existing consumer-focused, ad-based website (over 300K MAU, over 80K+ highly engaged Facebook fans, and over 2K organic Instagram followers)
- Oversee, plan and execute domestic acquisition, remarketing, segmentation process and automation campaigns across ad and publisher networks; deliver against ROAS targets for channels including: email, display, SEM, social
- Develop creative, unique ways of driving growth through product and funnel optimization, paid acquisition and remarketing, and data-driven organic or programmatic features
- Perform analysis using large data sets to quantitatively test user behavior hypotheses; make strategic recommendations to exec team based on data-driven decisions and focus for scalable acquisition
- Execute innovative experiments to test demand across segments or new remarketing channels; contribute to comprehensive testing and reporting matrix
- Actively track and perform cohort analyses across all campaigns to identify most valuable customers
- Define best practices, set measurable objectives, ensure tracking/reporting capabilities, evaluate and reporting campaign results, and create P&L analysis
- Work with growing cross-functional team of analysts, engineers and designers to drive growth strategy and optimize creative/UI
- Identify new opportunities and monitor competitive activity; react to online trends and best practices

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

- 3+ years of relevant, hands-on experience in online customer acquisition role directly responsible for driving growth and can demonstrate the impact of your efforts
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent experience
- Deep knowledge and experience with online acquisition and remarketing tactics/channels (display, remarketing, SEM, affiliate, programmatic media, etc.).
- Analytical, data-driven and rigorous, with a thorough understanding of key customer acquisition metrics, LTVs and statistics
- Excellent project management abilities, capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously
- Problem-solver, quick-learner and risk-taker. You’re willing to try new things -- and quickly -- for the purpose of achieving rapid growth and learnings
- Deep knowledge and first hand experience working with analytic and MVT tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Optimizely, etc.) and ability to vet and master new tools
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, database marketing and consumer insights/data mining
- Self-starter with a collaborative, upbeat, solutions-oriented attitude
- Excellent verbal and writing skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance multiple projects simultaneously in a startup atmosphere
- Detail and task-oriented
- Ability to work within a cross-functional team; ability to communicate effectively with a broad spectrum of colleagues and external partners
- Must be able to travel to meet the Delray Beach-based team within first weeks of starting, and must be able to travel for the 2 annual global team summits each year

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

- Direct marketing and/or database marketing experience
- Knwoledge of ad networks and servers from publisher/advertiser basis (Adsense, Adwords, Bing, Media.net, Facebook)
- Web languages and technologies (HTML/CSS, Javascript, jQuery, Python)
- SQL
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Creative ideation and prototyping of innovative user experiences
