Description
Senior Network Engineer required for a contract role based in Dublin.
You will be responsible for the running of the IT communications and Voice Over IP network.
You will have an active role in the development of scalable network designs, solutions and policies.
The qualifications and experience required of the proposed Engineer are as follows:
Minimum qualification: CCSP or CCNP S, CCIE Collaboration (written), Fully CCIE R&S Certified (inc. lab), experience of working in a large corporate HQ environment with global footprint and
Extensive experience of at least 5 years with enterprise level network design.
Extensive experience of at least 5 years in IPT including design, deploy, support and configuration of:
1. Enterprise level Cisco Unified Communications Manager in a Clustered Environment including CUCM version 9.X and above
2. Cisco IPT running on a UCS Virtualized VMWare environment
3. Enterprise level Cisco Unity Connection (Enterprise Voicemail)
4. Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (Call Centre)
5. Cisco Calibro Call Recording
6. Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express (CME) and integrating it with the CUCM environment
7. Cisco Telephony and other Legacy phone systems (QSIG/FXO etc)
8. Ringmaster by Softex or CallBill by PhoneWare or other CDR reporting tools.
5 years Operational and deployment Experience of Network Management including:
1. Cisco Secure Access Control Server (ACS)
2. Cisco Prime Network Mangement Solution (LMS)
3. Castlerock SNMPc or equivalent
4. Paessler PRTG network Monitoring or equivalent.
5. RSA SecureID Applicance or equivalent.
Operational and deployment experience of enterprise level hardware including:
1. Cisco Routers
2. Cisco Switches Nexus Series/3750 Series/3750X Series/4500 Series/6500 Series
3. Long range and Short range Fiber including SX/LX/ZX
4. 10G Fiber Backbone Networks
5. Cisco Wireless including 2500 WD Controller and Aironet 11XX Access Points.
Network Load Balancing with Kemp technologies, Cisco CSS products, Bluecoat SSL Proxy
Extensive operational experience (at least 5 years) of IP security and encryption technologies;
Operational experience of 802.1x authentication standard and network security 13
High level network routing protocol troubleshooting skills (EIGRP, OSPF, RIP).
Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, GRE, IPSec, VRRP, dot1x, and SNMP protocols.
Extensive operational experience with security issues and access control mechanisms to prevent unauthorised access.
At least 3 years' experience with standard network change management and configuration policies.
In-depth knowledge of network monitoring and network administrative tools
