The Responsibilities/required skills are a follows:
The Release Manager for managing releases within the Client's Business. The Release Manager is responsible for the detailed analysis of demand and grouping into releases along with the product manager. The Release Manager heads a release control board and manages a Release Calendar. The Release Manager works with all the work-streams involved in the Release, enforcing scope and accountability.
In addition this role assumes responsibility within the release for the optimal design, delivery and deployment of solutions, and complying to all process requirements.
The Release Manager assumes responsibility for the end-to-end smooth transition of service delivery vs. defined stakeholder requirements and ensures the optimal planning and deployment of all activities and resources associated with a release.
Required Skills:
Strong experience within IT and Project Delivery
Experience within the Pharma/Life Science industry preferable
Strong demonstrated experience managing IT projects with a proven track record of success
Exhibits a comprehensive knowledge of project management methodology
Has a fundamental knowledge of business process analysis and design, system architectures, technology standards, etc.
Provides comprehensive and authoritative technical or professional guidance on a wide range of issues within the area of project management to influence internal and/or external stakeholders
Interacts with a typically diverse internal and external audience and is required to interpret complex information.
Understands the needs of the business and aspects of the external environment (eg related projects, initiatives, functions, etc.) and their impact on the own area of responsibility
Experience with ITSM tools (Remedy, HP, ServiceNow)
