I have an excellent opportunity for a Communications and Marketing Manager to work for a major company based in Coventry.

Communications and Marketing Manager
6 months Contract

We have an ambitious objective: to make energy cleaner and better wherever we operate.

Your Responsibilities
* Drive and lead on the implementation of an external communication (PR and marketing) plan for ECT in UK
* Develop and maintain external communications content, such as for press releases, events, articles and marketing materials, in alignment with ECT headquarters in Germany, and ECT in the UK
* Coordinate press contacts and ensure media coverage
* Organize and maintain internal databases for marketing and external communications material
* Coordinate the translation or creation of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyer's, sales presentations etc.
* Provide input to ECT-wide external and internal communications activities
* Coordinate with external suppliers as required
* Report to the Head of Communications & Market Design at ECT headquarters in Essen, Germany

* University degree or similar qualification in, for example, marketing, communication, business administration, social sciences or journalism
* Background in the wider energy services business or comparable industries - Desired
* Excellent and quick in transferring key business messages into relevant and appealing communications content
* Highly proficient in MS PowerPoint and Word
* Excellent English writing and verbal skills
* Flexibility and hands-on attitude, willingness to work in a start-up environment, and ability to work in an international environment
* Minimum 4 years of experience in journalism/press/communications environment
* Experience with CHP/Energy Efficiency in the UK is useful
