My leading financial client based in Dublin is looking fo an experienced Senior Business analyst to join their team on an initial 12 month contract.

Role
Deliver high quality business specifications to the development teams for the purpose of completing the estimation, design, coding, testing, and implementation phases of the project life cycle.
Own the technical solution and lead teams of functional and technical analysts and developers providing them with day-to-day guidance to build, test and deliver business requirements.
Partner with senior business/product stakeholders to provide technology consulting services to key regional initiatives.
Produce technology proposals/presentations leveraging Clients switching capabilities and technology assets to recommend innovative and cost-effective technology solutions to business/regulatory challenges.
Leverage partnerships with other Technology teams such as Enterprise Architecture and Data Warehouse to build comprehensive technology solutions that drive business strategy.

Experience Required:
Technology Consulting experience preferably across business analysis and change management in payments industry
Curiosity & Problem Solving Capability to advise senior business stakeholders on defining problem statements, an approach to deliver solutions, and the ability to develop and present compelling value propositions involving technology.
Strong analytic skills to unravel complex matters and do impact analysis of different options.
Stakeholder management in interacting with the business, preparation of business and functional specifications and the ability to work with multi-located technology teams.
Strong business writing, leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Strong understanding of software methodologies, principles, theories and concepts.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of switching capabilities and systems.
Previous experience in payments industry
Knowledge of latest technology trends such as API based development, Big Data etc.
