An exciting opportunity for a Credit Analyst has come about to join the Global Energy Marketing and Shipping (GEMS) team at a global energy business in Reading. The company's headquarters are based in the UK with operations in 20 countries across five continents with a global workforce of over 70 nationalities.WHATS ON OFFER:
LOCATION: Reading
RATE: £400
CONTRACT: 6 Months
The purpose of the credit analyst role is to
- Cover the responsibilities in reporting and credit support for the business which has grown significantly in the past few years while credit resources have been constrained.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing business stakeholders in oil and gas trading
- Monitor credit quality of the trading portfolio
- Supervise over reporting to ensure daily reporting processes are kept accurate and up to date.
- Oversee IT projects in relation to the credit system
- Present credit recommendations to credit managers and Head of Credit after performing credit analysis
The Successful candidate will have:
- Knowledge of credit systems and experience in credit systems flows
- Past experience within the oil and gas sector is desirable
- Experience in dealing with senior stakeholders
