My NHS client based in London is currently recruiting for a Band 7 (or possibly 8a) Mental Health Nurse to focus on reviewing our MH placements (both health-funded and joint-funded).The core task in each case will be a review of the client's needs and how effectively these are being met by the current placement - an experienced practitioner role essentially.
- Ideally my client needs someone who is also knowledgeable about this area of service provision:
- Highly supported accommodation
- Residential care/nursing homes
- Inpatient rehab/ward in the community type services etc. and the ability to assess the quality of their work with individuals
Once the initial programme of reviews is well underway, a secondary role will be assessing new clients and sourcing potential placements, also advising care coordinators on placement-related questions.
A knowledge of Continuing Healthcare would be helpful.
Must have a current RMN clinical registration.
This is an immediate start full time role with some scope for home working. The role will initially be until 31st March 2016. Day rate is circa £320 - £350 depending on experience.
