My client, an impressive business based in Ipswich is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their established finance team on a 9-month Fixed Term Contract.This is a great opportunity to gain further experience within a commercial and fast paced organisation. Duties and responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the production of regulatory reporting on a quarterly and annual basis
- Handling preparatory reporting
- Assisting in the production of monthly and quarterly reporting packs (under various GAAPs) analysing the balance sheets and full Profit and Loss Account
- Assisting in the preparation of annual statutory financial statements
- Provide financial analysis and explanatory commentary of actual result performance against prior year, plans, and forecasts on a monthly basis
Key skills and experience:
- You will be professionally qualified with relevant and solid post qualification experience
- Proven ability to teach/explain technical accounting issues
- Ability to network, influence and negotiate at all levels
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet crucial and demanding deadlines
