Description

My Client is a Major Central Government Organisation. The are looking for a Strategic Procurement Officer for a 6 month. The ideal candidate must have experience of developing and implementing procurement plans, using IT and/or services management solutions; and managing major high value purchases that requires analysis, comparison and assessment.

Essential Experience:
- CIPS Qualified and an Honours Degree in a business related subject.
- Experience of developing and implementing procurement
- IT and/or services management solutions; and managing major high value purchases that requires analysis, comparison and assessment.
- Experience of providing leadership and subject matter expertise in strategic & operational planning to the service line and to deliver core and new programmes and projects for planning and transformation services.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement/management

Desirable Experience:
- Knowledge of the service provider market and wider stakeholder environment.
- Knowledge of the IT market would be an advantage.
- Experience of risk management, corporate governance and quality management systems
