General ManagerA growing logistics and supply chain company have asked me to help find a General Manager to join a company for their site in Halifax. Your Role
- Manage the P&L for the Halifax site
- Manage performance and identify areas for improvement
- Reporting to board
- Manage a diverse range of employees
- Align the commercial side of the business with the overall company strategy
About You
- Three years experience in a senior operations position or as a General Manager
- Must have extensive manufacturing experience
- Preference will be given to candidates with Six Sigma knowledge
- Preferably experience in fabrics / textiles / garments, however experience in logistics and packaging would also be beneficial
- Degree educated or equivalent
With a large amount of autonomy within the role, this position would best suit a person who is confident in his managerial abilities and decision making and would need minimal support.
