BARNSLEY, LINUX/SOLARIS SYSTEM ADMIN, 380 P/DAYMy client, a leading Tier 1 Investment Bank, is looking for a contractor to join their team for a long term rolling contract:
Role: Linux / Solaris Systems Administrator
Rate: £380 per day
Location: Barnsley, Sheffield
Duration: 6 months, rolling contract
Key Responsibilities
*Linux and Solaris Systems Administrator for a project delivery role; configuring and delivering Linux and some Solaris based server environments and services.
*You will need the ability not only to install and support the products but also pass on your skills to colleagues.
Key Skills
*You will already have significant experience of working in a major enterprise environment and proficiency in Linux server admin skills (RedHat/SUSE) is a must. Solaris x86 & SPARC is desirable
*Excellent knowledge of Veritas Volume manager and Veritas Cluster Server is required.
*You will need to have experience with IBM and HP hardware with NAS storage and EMC SAN solutions.
