Senior Business Accountant
This is your opportunity to work for one of the largest employers in East London! Our client are looking for an experienced Business Finance Manager to join them for a few months initially to deliver a professional service across the full range of financial management issues.
The role will consist of the following:

Assessing the financial implications of service proposals
-
Financial modelling and investment appraisal
-
Analysing options for service related projects and initiatives
-
Providing financial advice on transformation programmes and assess the financial implications

Providing commercial support for the Directorate
-
Ensuring arrangements are in place to enable the monitoring of resources and managing budget execution
To be considered for the role you must have the following skills and attributes:
-
Hold or be working towards a relevant accountancy qualification (eg. CIMA, CCAB)

Knowledge of computerised accounting systems
-
The ability to manage budgets to a high standard
-
The ability to lead, manage and motivate staff
-
Experience of preparing reports for Senior members of staff
-
The ability to deal with queries and provide technical advice
-
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Strong analytical and problem solving skills
-
Project management and organisational skills
-
Be flexible and adaptable to a change in workload or demands
-
Knowledge and understanding of MTFP (Medium Term Financial Plan)
