Description

Our client is looking for a Investment guidelines officer/Analyst to join their team in central London.

Monitoring:

  • Investment guidelines monitoring using our main constraint server Sentinel.
  • Accurately analyse all detected incidents.
  • Ensure complete resolution of all alerts in conjunction with all impacted Teams including, IG Engineering, Front Office, Distribution, Legal or Compliance.

Implementation and maintenance of constraints:

  • Test and validate the coding of new constraints
  • Evaluate the quality of the measures performed by the monitoring tools.
  • Participate in the implementation of new constraints.

Reporting:

  • When required, assist in the production of Compliance Reports for our various clients.

Improve the quality and efficiency of the procedures to:

  • Reduce the number of false alerts
  • Propose solutions to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the procedures.
  • Propose enhancements to improve the effectiveness of the procedures, eg offshoring

Implementation of these enhancements in conjunction with Technology and other implicated Teams.

  • Fluent English
  • Good knowledge of equity, Fixed Income and derivative markets along with local regulations and associated applications.
  • Strong attention to detail. Thorough and meticulous approach.
  • Solution oriented mind-set
  • Well organised and able to work to sometimes tight and time critical deadlines
  • Advanced Excel knowledge (macro level) is preferred. LZ Sentinel preferred although not essential
  • Self-motivated and able to plan and manage workload with limited supervision.
  • Well organised and able to work to sometimes tight and time critical deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) along with the capacity to work/interact with all levels of management/staff within the organisation.
