Global Data Analyst (MI/BI/Analytics)

Working in partnership with a market leading Software Company we are looking to appoint a Global Data Analyst

This is a pivotal role, reporting to the VP of Data, which will be instrumental in proactively gathering business requirements from global stakeholders with a view to helping the business in the selection of a global MI/BI platform and toolset moving forwards.

We are looking for a candidate who has an excellent track record in delivery of agile and innovative MI/BI/Insight solutions to support digital first businesses (such as Real Time personalisation, insight or data powered digital marketing) and experience in:

  • Traditional DWH principles (incl. Kimball, Inmon)
  • New DWH/Platform initiatives (incl. Cloud, Big Data, open source)
  • Consumption methods (incl. data visualisation, reporting, dashboards, search)
  • Acquisition methods (incl. file, streaming, API.)
  • Marketing and Sales insight capabilities
  • Data security, protection and access considerations

The ideal candidate will have no problem in conveying complex technical issues (including data analytics, business insight, business intelligence, management information etc) to non-technical audiences. We are looking for a team player, with a can-do attitude who can liaise with stakeholders and peers easily.

Ideally applicants will have experience in organisations that have been through large scale change, have Agile working practices. Any experience in Digital organisations using data powered digital solutions would be great.

Please note this is a role for a global company and will involve some travel. Predominantly the position will be UK based; however there will be some travel to USA.
