Governance/Compliance Engineer- Export Control and Defence
A Governance/compliance Engineer Services Engineer with Export and defence experience is required to work on a twelve month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Lancashire
This is a 12 month contract working for a leading defence company.
Overview of the Governance/Compliance Engineer contract role
A governance/compliance engineer is required to ensure that the teams within the department are compliant with both the company and government regulations applicable to avionics development and export of controlled goods.
Key skills required for the Governance/compliance Engineer
- Support to department DSLO and export control leads
- Development of department plans
- Configuration of documents in line with department security plan
- Configuration of documents in line with department export plans and procedures
- Support to department configuration management activities and audits
- Generation of department level metrics and status slides
- Configuration of documents within the department management system
The role is based in Preston, Lancashire - commutable from Blackpool, Lancaster, Morecambe, Chorley, Leyland, Blackburn, Darwen, Burnley, Skipton, Stockport, Manchester, Warrington, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham with excellent access from Liverpool and Leeds
