I am looking to hire a Senior Auditor for one of my Public Sector Client. Please read the below job Specification
Additional Information:
To take ownership for the planning, delivery and reporting of your allocation of supplier audit work.
This will include:
- Upfront engagement with relevant category team to understand the framework, the supplier and wider context.
- Upfront engagement with suppliers to discuss deliverables, timescales, approach to be adopted etc.
- Desktop preparation for audit visit, including data review and analysis; and development of detailed work programme.
- Onsite audit visit (usually take two days) to conduct fieldwork in line with standardized methodology; using initiative and asking pertinent questions where required.
- Documenting fieldwork, findings and recommendations into a report to be delivered to category managers
- Engaging in the internal quality assurance process, responding openly to feedback and comments from those reviewing work and draft report.
Essential Experience:
- Minimum two year's audit experience
- qualified auditor or accountant
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally) with staff and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong skills in use of Word and Excel.
- A willingness to travel nationally as fieldwork visits will take place approximately once per week.
- A self-motivator who has the ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
