Sopra Steria Recruitment, working in partnership with Major public sector client in UK; we are recruiting Finance Manager in for 3 months with possible extension for our Public sector client.
Job Description:
A Finance Manager to support the work around the transfer of additional teams into the Agency of contracts, agreement of new charging models and new commercial arrangements with customers.
The primary activities are expected to be:
Drafting and supporting the work around negotiating Memorandums of Understanding with new customer Departments.
Compiling and analysing cost data related to the new teams moving in to the Agency.
Reviewing contractors used by the migrating teams and ensuring that suitable arrangements are in place for teams to operate when they move into the Agency.
Assisting with the communications and training relating to the Agency's revised charging model which will be launched in April 2016.
Working with HMT's Transactional Services teams to deliver a smooth and accurate transfer.
This role will be working with a small Finance team in the Corporate Centre of the Agency.
Person Specification
The skills that we are looking for are:
An understanding of Civil Service Finance and Procurement policies.
The ability to analyse and present information clearly and concisely.
Written and oral communication skills.
A willingness to meet the challenges of difficult or complex changes, encouraging and supporting others to do the same.
