Information Security Analyst.
Seeking an experienced Information Assurance & Security Consultant, for an initial 3 Month period, with a possible extension. This is an urgent requirement, & would need somebody to start a Contract before Xmas.

Experience of security consulting, able to hit the ground running, adapt to complex technical and people environments;

Strong/credible technical background, eg ethical hacking, development, infrastructure, security assurance, penetration testing;

Experience/good knowledge of hardening physical and virtual infrastructure;

Experience/good knowledge of threat and vulnerability management;
-
Qualifications desirable, but experience is more important;

Experience of drafting RMADS, Cabinet Office and other HMG frameworks;

Experience of implementing ISO 27001, ISF, Data Protection good practices;

Experience of information risk management eg ISO 27005 or other framework;

Positive outlook, good with people, inquisitive, tenacious and empathic;

Good commercial awareness;
-
Knowledge of data protection, PCI DSS compliance; and
-
Experience or willingness to write policies, procedures, and practices around information security good practice.
