Senior Procurement Lead: Non-IT Sourcing - Financial Services - London
My client a leading Financial Services organisation based in London is currently recruiting for a Senior Procurement Lead. The procurement department's main objective is to secure the best value for money for the organisation through considerations of cost, service and quality.
Key responsibilities/Experience
- Management of a small team to provide sourcing and procurement support to various divisions within the organisation.
- Leading integration from a Non-IT perspective reporting directly into the Head of Procurement.
- Supporting the business in determining and managing sourcing strategy for a designated range of categories (Marketing, Professional Services, HR & Corporate Services).
- Experience in Category management across non IT-Categories.
- Strong Stakeholder Management experience, being prepared to engage and challenge decisions at a senior level.
- Experienced in integration of two organisations - identifying procurement synergies, leading sourcing and people work streams.
- Previous experience working on large scale Change and Transformation projects would be advantageous.
- Proven background in negotiating complex sourcing deals with numerous non-price variables.
- Experience in using Ariba Sourcing Tools and CIPS would also be advantageous.
