Our well established financial services client have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Actuarial Manager to join their team based in Edinburgh. You will be able to apply your expert knowledge of investments and asset liability management to continuously improve their investment strategy.
You will support the wider team on investment issues related to annuity, identify opportunities to champion change, contribute to ongoing strategic management and analyse opportunities to enhance overall returns. Essentially you will have responsibility for driving forward the implementation and continuous improvement of the investment strategy for the annuity portfolio and other Shareholder Assets portfolio.
You should have a demonstrable history of actuarial strategic management and have strong investment and annuity knowledge. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
Desirable skills: Must be a part/qualified actuary or similar investment/finance professional.
