Job Title: Equipment Support Manager
Location: Bristol
Contract: 4 months (with possible Extension)
Rate: Upto £360 per day
Job description:
- Provide advice and guidance on Safety and Environmental policy to equipment support managers and project managers, specifically to the infrastructure area.
- Provide support to Equipment Support and Project Managers in negotiation with contractors and suppliers to ensure that adequate hazard analysis has been carried out.
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of current and emerging legislation and advise project and equipment support managers accordingly
- Provide advice and guidance to the team on sustainable procurement
- Provide safety support in the development of high level Technical papers inc SRD's, URD's and UOR's.
- Support the Projects Tender Assessment process.
- Draft safety signals and issue.
- Maintain eCassandra hazard logs.
- Provide expertise and support to project safety panels, ensuring that the panels are compliant with OSP SEMS and ASEMS
- Assist in the formulation of safety statements and safety cases
- Facilitate the OSP ISA on audits undertaken on OIP equipment and policy
- To manage and promote best practice and continual improvement across the team regarding Safety and Environment.
- To provide cover for Utilities and STE equipment.
