Description
A well-known commercial business is looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to develop a security practice on a contract basis, initially for 6 months based in London.As the Cyber Security Specialist you will practice in security frameworks and policies as well as being able to talk about the methods in 'Lehman's terms'.
Key duties will include:
* Recognises problems and be able to identify security violations
* Monitoring and managing the existing security platforms, assessing for vulnerability and analysing the threat of cyber-attacks.
* Implement Security improvements. Make it in line with ISO27001.
* Perform mock scenarios of attacks so to recognise attempts at intrusion. Review in detail.
* Works with current IT infrastructure team to share knowledge and best practice
* Assisting implementation of counter measures.
Candidate wishing to apply will have experience in:
* 7 Years' Experience in Cyber Security (including 'hands on' experience)
* ISO27001 implementation
* IT security Policies and procedures
* Hands on technical ability around Networks and Firewalls
* Team Leadership
* Risk Management
* Valid industry standard qualification - e.g. CISSP Certification.
Rate: £500 - £600 per day
