Senior Project Accountant - Portfolio Lead - Banking
Based in Manchester (city centre) a Project Accountant is required on a contract basis to work across a portfolio of programmes within the FS sector.
Working in a central support function you will be required to provide financial reporting across a portfolio of 34 programmes.
Working against a budget for 2016 you will be required to look at budgets and report on spend/targets across the portfolio.
Candidates must have experience working as a Project Accountant at a senior level. There is a preference for experience within the retail banking sector.
An accountancy qualification would be ideal however the main requirements of the role are to understand business cases, influence stakeholders and manipulate numbers.
These are senior opportunities however candidates must be willing to offer a hands on approach where required.
