I have an excellent opportunity for a Financical Accountant to work for a major company based in Warwick.
Financical Accountant
6 months Contract
Warwick
Purpose:
Support the process manager for Projects and Capex in the UK in the lead up to and through year end. Support the development and execution of processes to maximise operational efficiency and effectiveness, and ensures that process outputs meet all internal and external stakeholder requirements.
Working within the capex team, making accounting decisions for standard and non-standard requests, ensuring smooth month end processing and helping maintain system data integrity.
To contribute to the maintenance of the General Ledger.
accounting policies and control framework, including the integrity of data flows from interfaced systems, month and year end close activities, reconciliations, chart of account maintenance and fixed assets activities
Experience Required:-
- 5 years experience within a Finance department - preferably with experience of financial accounting and specifically capex and fixed assets accounting
- Strong analytical and modelling skills
- Data manipulation skills
- Significant knowledge of accounting policies, guidelines and procedures
- Good knowledge of accounting systems and packages - SAP, BI and Excel
- Financial and Statutory Accounts
To be successful for the role you will need to have experience within Capex and SAP.
