Description
Operations Sourcing/Procurement who is conversant with the full spectrum of challenges associated with the purchase of investment capital goods, and associated services.
Needs to have good project management skills and the ability to control and deliver a number of major projects to clients expectations. Need the ability to lead a team of individuals with differing operational disciplines, to deliver a compliant solution.
You will need to have been exposed to strict procurement processes, aligned to sourcing manuals and internal operational compliance requirements.
The procurement profile generally covers:
*Electronic COTs test equipment
*Mechanical cutting machines, lathes, borers etc.
*Bespoke test equipment
*Building Construction
*Building refurbishment
*Building infrastructure requirements, such as PA systems, fire alarm, air con etc
Basically any investment purchase the chosen site needs to make.
Location of work: Based at Caerphilly, South Wales.
Costs: Travel when requested/approved by either contractor or client to supplier or other client locations will be recoverable, as travel and subsistence but must be approved by the client first.
