Description
Responsible for overall administration of production and R&D environments, including databases, web services and security on remote and cloud based servers.Responsibilities
- Maintaining cloud infrastructure uptime, system updates, security patches, monitoring, performance, log analysis, etc.
- Perform routine audits and system performance tuning
- Collaborate to develop system configuration, deployment and operations workflows
- Employing web security standards and policies
- Securely managing user accounts and access management
- Customer file transfer infrastructure and security
- Cloud infrastructure and associated cost evaluation, migration, capacity planning, scalability, backup, etc.
- Web domain purchases, renewal and maintenance (domains, DNS, SSL, etc)
- Providing technical support to software engineering team as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field
- 5+ years of professional experience in web and database deployments, security and infrastructure administration
- Production experience with AWS and/or other cloud based infrastructures
- Linux and Windows environments
- Experience with SQL database security and administration
- Ability to perform scripting/automation of sysadmin and deployment tasks
- Broad understanding of relevant software stacks

- Relevant industry certifications
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Experience with Python
- Performance optimization, benchmarking, load/stress testing
- Experience with JIRA for issue management
