A great opportunity for an Index Research Analyst has arisen and will be working for one of the leading Asset Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creation of projections for upcoming index changes in the underlying benchmarks, which are used by portfolio managers to place trades.
- Research expected index changes, upcoming corporate actions, and major index rebalances.
- Enhance and streamline index projection process by participating in the migration to IndexPro.
- Develop strong knowledge of index methodology
- Active voice in all portfolio manager and index discussions.
- Support index strategy and product teams with benchmark analysis
Qualifications and Skills:
- BS/BA with a guideline of 1+years of professional experience.
- Understanding of index equity and corporate action type/events
- Willing to work local market hours
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong analytical and communication skills, and desire to excel in team oriented environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments while producing high quality work in a demanding and fast paced environment.
