Interim Pensions Officer X2A unique and exciting opportunity based in the South has arisen for two experienced Pensions Officers to work alongside the current Pensions Manager and Pensions team to support the organisation through BAU support during a business critical HR/Payroll system implementation.
START: ASAP
CONTRACT: 5 Months initially
LOCATION: South
INTERVIEW: Immediate
RATE: £285 - £340 per day
Essential skills:
- Previous experience as a Pensions Officer
- Comfortable with pensions and sound pensions knowledge
- Familiarity of USS/SAUL
- Sound Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable Skills:
- Prior use of the PSEnterprise HR/Payroll system.
- Previous experience of the Higher Education
The organisation has commenced a project to replace the current HR/Payroll system. This project requires a period of user-acceptance testing of the configuration in and dual-running of the new system later this year.
To enable current Pay & Pension Office staff to devote time to testing and parallel running of the systems, the project plan requires 2 temporary Pensions Officers to be added to the team who will assist the permanent Pension Clerks in the daily tasks needed to carry out the monthly pension processes within the current system.
