Commercial Contract Officer
Main Duties include:
* Review customer terms and conditions and advise on risks, cost drivers and propose acceptable commercial positions, to the Business Unit
* Conduct and support negotiations with customers to achieve the best position for the Client which reflects the agreed "sign-off" position.
* Draft, review, manage & maintain Business Unit commercial and contractual arrangements (eg MOUs, sales contracts, teaming agreements, collaborative arrangements, licence agreements, NDAs, etc)
* Liaise with projects and technical staff to ensure contracts accurately reflect the programme of work
* Work with finance colleagues to ensure acceptable cash flows and payment profiles are contractually agreed
* Present commercial aspects of proposals at internal bid reviews, to all levels of seniority
* Conduct pre- and post contract award reviews with internal stakeholders to ensure the contractual obligations are known, understood and being properly addressed
Whilst not essential, it would be preferable if the perfect candidate has knowledge of DEFCONS, DEFFORMS & EU public tender requirements
