Description

Job Title: Quality Project Management Advisor, Banking, Brussels

Objective:

Role is to deliver reliable and sustainable IT solutions for the financial securities markets. You will be supporting the team in achieving its main objectives in delivering key projects on time, scope, quality and with in budget and developing human capital.

As a Quality Advisor, your role will be to:

- Support 3 or 4 projects and will perform extended Quality assessment not only on processes but also on content and will provide an overall evaluation of the quality of the projects.

- Support and challenge the Project Leaders defining their action plan to close the observed quality gaps and to develop further their competencies (in close cooperation with the Project Leader Competency Centre team).

- Give advise on various Project management best practices (eg Planning, Cost Management, Deliverables Management, Stakeholders Management, Risks and Issues Management, Change Management).

- Provide support/lead the analysis of transversal issues related to project and delivery management processes.

- Post project performance reporting, capturing management information related to budget, schedule, productivity and quality.

Skills and experience

- An experience in Project Management, Project Delivery and/or Quality Assurance.

- A proven track record of results (experience in applying Project Management methodology is an asset).

- A strong knowledge in outsourcing, contract management, scrum/agile type of methodologies would be considered advantageous;

- Any experience in the implementation of business critical software package is a plus.

You will also be skilled at:

- Collaborating effectively - working closely with other stakeholders in order to share information and work in a way which will achieve the QA objectives while still supporting the goals of these other teams (Winning together);

- Develop and sell best practices, you can engage and influence Project Leaders;

- Provide advices to continually develop, you also recognize and reward for contributions;

- Organize/accomplish work efficiently and autonomously, seeking advice/support and escalating when necessary;

-- A cultural openness and adaptability, you are pragmatic and have the capacity to keep things simple.

- Provide clear written reports

- Broad understanding of quality assurance and project management in the wider context (ability to refer and compare to industry best practices, standards and methods);

- Strong project management knowledge - ability to understand and challenge on the key fundamentals of good project management.
