Next Ventures are currently executing a search for a business analyst with Proven Retail Domain project experience.
As a Business Analyst, you are responsible for the Retail Domain, support the solution, identifying, documenting and managing all business requirements for a solution, so that the solution meets the needs and expectations of the users, and other internal or external stakeholders. Validate compliance of business requirements through the Service Validation/Test & Configuration Management processes execution by the IT vendors, review test results, follow-up and steer on defined test KPIs/metrics. Ideally, you shall support interactions with process and business teams, Operations & Shared Services, Architecture, Information Security, Local IT, Information management teams.
Your assignment:
- Identify improvements by elicit, analyse, challenge and document (eg business requirements, use cases, user stories, test cases & acceptance criteria, boundary conditions) all stakeholder needs and detailed business requirements. For a technical service this includes functional and non-functional requirements.
- Facilitate the identification and elaboration of feasible business solutions for process, organization and service with business modelling while managing expectations among the stakeholders.
- Challenge and assure quality of stakeholder needs, business requirements and solution alternatives in order to identify consequences and reduce risks. Support solution evaluation with identified business requirements.
- Support project management in setting up a business analysis approach that is appropriate for the chosen project approach. Support business architect in creation of business blueprint and managing dependencies relating to processes, information and solutions.
- Support with definition and validation of high level & low level design for business development activities (project & releases) in cooperation with the solution architect and vendor resources.
- Validate compliance of business requirements through the Service Validation/Test & Configuration Management processes execution by the IT vendors, review test results, follow-up and steer on defined test KPIs/metrics. Support BAT, UAT planning, preparation & execution, including test case definition and drive acceptance.
- Support service transition activities in relation to new business development activities (projects & releases), including dependencies and handover to Operations. Support and provide expertise to secure the daily operation of the solution when needed. Support in defining expected service levels.
- Contribute to the creation of solution documentation in co-operation with process/business teams and IT vendors.
- Provide inputs for solution area business continuity plan.
- Good knowledge of the relevant business process, its strategies and connections to other processes.
- Solid knowledge and experience in business analysis, requirements engineering process and configuration management.
- Good at facilitating, planning and managing workshops and activities.
- Good knowledge within the assigned solution area, its roadmap, life cycle management as well as the IT solution/platform.
- Good knowledge of test methods and tools with focus on acceptance testing and good understanding of unit, system, integration testing.
- Knowledge of general IT frames eg standards, infrastructure and platforms, frameworks, development concepts and processes.
- Solid understanding of project and software life cycle management.
- Steering according to processes and methods for developing, integrating and building IT system.

This is an English speaking project. Swedish Language would be a disinct advantage.
