Description
Job Description:- A Sr. Computer Aided Drafting Coordinator works very closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers and other project team members to create, modify and maintain system drawings, site development drawings, and any other drawing documentation that is necessary and required.
- All drawings are created in 2D with AutoCAD. No 3D or modelling software is used to develop drawings.
- Qualified candidate will be working on multiple projects to generate, modify and develop final As-Built AutoCAD drawings.
- Candidate will need to work closely with the Drafting Group Lead and multiple project teams for the development of our system drawing packages.
- Drawings usually require a quick turn around and need to be accurate.
Position Requirements:
- A minimum of an Associate's Degree
- 5-8 years experience in Computer Aided Drafting with AutoCAD 2008 or above.
- AutoCAD 2008 or above
- Windows 7 Professional
- Microsoft Office 2007 Suite Programs
- Acrobat 11.0 or above
- Microsoft Visio Suite
- Google Drive and Google Applications
- Must be able to learn internal standards and quality control procedures to develop drawing packages.
- Possess strong organizational skills and effective communications skill; both verbal and written.
- Collaborate with the individual(s) responsible for providing input for system drawing packages.
- Be able to gather, organize and interpret engineering notes and measurements to develop drawings.
- Print, assemble and distribute completed drawings to project teams.
