The Fixed Assets Accountant will ensure the quality and constant improvement of the financial processes regarding Fixed Assets and their implementation into the financial systems. Secure the relevant input of the finance stakeholders and provide the Finance community with efficient and reliable solutions. Contribute to increase productivity and quality of the process
Main Activities
Your main activities as a fixed assets accountant will be:
* Validate the operating and capital expenditure criteria of the expenses and assets class
* Maintain the master data
* Support to the capital expenditure committee
* Perform entries into service and chase old assets under construction
* Monthly and year-end closing
* External and internal auditor's management
* Tax return related to fixed assets.
In addition to your accountant role you will:
* Take part in the Fixed Assets management meetings (one every quarter)
* Make sure KPI for the billing model is accurate
* Contribute to the management of the organisation through the assessment and development of the maturity levels into the project
* Be the ERM representative for the Fixed Assets process in the UK
Skills and Qualifications
A recognised Accounting qualification: ACCA, CIMA, AAT or equivalent accounting experience
