Description
My Client a global manufacturer are currently recruiting for a finance/tax specialist for a two month contract (with the possibility of extension) to join the Finance/Tax Team testing new finance and business systems. The role is based at their UK Head Office site in Bracknell.
Overall Mission
To assist the Finance/Tax Team, UK & Ireland, in testing new finance and business systems due to be implemented towards the end of 2016. The primary focus of the role is to follow/work through finance and tax test scripts in a test environment and to assist finance and business colleagues in resolving any defects identified.
Skills and Experience
A confident experienced professional with a finance background
Knowledge of financial information systems, preferably SAP
Previous testing experience (including HP ALMQC) helpful but not essential
Experience of indirect taxes, particularly VAT, preferable
Previous experience of multi-national organisations, manufacturing and supply chains desirable but not essential.
Excellent PC skills, competent in the use of MS Office products
Sound interpersonal skills including the ability to challenge constructively and to listen effectively
Ability to prioritise effectively and to work accurately to deadlines.
Languages Required: English (fluent).
Qualifications
Qualified or part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
