Management Accountant - 6 months - Warwick - Negotiable Daily rate
A leading Energy and Utilities client of Pontoon is looking for a Management Accountant to join their team in Warwick as part of their corporate Finance function.
Job PurposeTo provide investment appraisal support to the Electricity Transmission investment process. Using and developing the existing processes in order to consolidate multi-disciplinary information into one common investment appraisal on an NPV basis.
This will involve working with Engineers in order to understand the issues at hand and ensure that they are quantified financially and included in the option analysis.
It will also involve identifying the key sensitivities with each investment and finding a way to explain the impact of the key variables, providing tipping points and boundaries for variables clouded by uncertainty.
There is also expected to be a level of ad-hoc support provided based on the topical priorities of the Investment Decision Support team.
Experience Required
At least 3 years relevant accounting experience.
Qualifications Required
Ideally a qualified accountant or working towards qualification with a UK recognised body with experience of major accounting systems, financial accounting, performance reporting and business management engagement experience
