QA Officer - Insurance: Contract - 3 months: Location - London City: Rate £100.00 -£110.00 per day max
My client is a global blue chip financial services company who are looking for a QA Officer - Insurance experience to gone them on this exciting role. I am particularly interested in speaking with individuals who have a strong background in Commercial Insurance.
Responsibilities of QA Officer - Insurance:
- Monitor capacity management to enable resources and tasks to be allocated effectively and cost saving opportunities to be identified
- Identify and encourage best practices to standardise the Multinational end to end process and reduce rework across UK
- Responsibility for monitoring training across UK from a technical and individual development perspective
- KPI analysis and reporting on productivity to identify improvement areas and maximise performance
- Establishing a consistent understanding and acceptable quality (measured by agreed SLAs) of handover documentation when working internally with underwriting, reinsurance and finance functions as well as with shared services
- Implementation of Quality Assurance initiatives internal to UK including measurement of final output from a customer perspective (for example accuracy of local policies issued)
- Controls Monitoring by managing BCP, Compliance and Audit to meet regulatory requirements
- Accountability for system, ID Admin and controls requirements for UK including QUEST and OMeGA
- Partnering with Shared Services to ensure controlled management of On-shoring/Offshoring tasks with particular focus on stakeholder management, communication, training, controls and cost benefits
- Be a role model and ambassador to drive UK to the next level
Experience & Skills of QA Officer - Insurance:
- Solid experience in and awareness of Commercial Insurance, including all key lines of business, all forms of reinsurance and multinational program servicing requirements
- High level and current knowledge of key regulatory requirements both in the UK and overseas
- Strong interpersonal, analytical and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills including the ability to communicate with business leaders
- In depth knowledge of the use of and migration of tasks to Shared Services
- Highly motivated and ability to work autonomously
- Experience of workload management across large teams
