Description

Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major public sector client in the UK.

We are currently recruiting a Cost Modeller for an initially 5 months based in Swindon.

Experience Required:

  • Responsible for providing financial modelling services to meet the Defence Academy requirement to cost varoius options, scenarios and COAs covering existing and future delivery requirements. There is likely to be a particular emphasis on output cost and pricing calculations including responsibility for the development of a Defence Academy service and facilities pricing strategy.
  • Required to develop, verify, validate, review and/or operate financial models as required to support decision-making where the subject is typically a strategic investment or divestment, business organisation or a portfolio level system of interactions, or supports the delivery of integrated services and provide senior staff with intelligence and analysis to support decision making, negotiation and provide leverage to ensure achieves best value for money.
  • Required to review Defence Academy Board level Financial Management Information, recommend and deliver improvements that adds value Management Board decision making.
  • Provide support to the Head of Business Development on Defence Academy Income generation tenders/bids including production of full cost and price calculations and hold responsibility for completion of the financial elements of tender documentation.
  • Should work as part of a small team etsablished to generate the conditions to enable the Defrence academy to achieve a significant increaseThe development in the levels of income generated.
